ARTHUR W. DAHLMAN

LE MARS, Iowa—Arthur W. Dahlman, 91, of LeMars, died unexpectedly Sunday, August 4, 1994, at his home.

Services will be 10 a.m. Thursday at Christy Morningside Funeral Home in Sioux City with the Rev. Larry C. Fett of Grace Lutheran Church, LeMars, officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery, Sioux City. Visitation will begin at 3 p.m. today, with the family present 7-8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mr. Dahlman was born Nov. 16, 1902, in rural Hinton, Iowa. He was a lifelong Hinton-LeMars area resident. On June 3, 1925, he married Gertrude Cox, in Hinton. She died Feb. 19, 1975, in LeMars. He was a self-employed farmer and had worked at one time at the LeMars Hatchery.

Mr. Dahlman was a member of Grace Lutheran Church, LeMars.

Survivors include a sister and her husband, Emma and Eddie Emmick of Sioux City and a niece, Bev Emmick of Sioux City.

He was also preceded in death by a sister, Martha.
