DALE C. DELPERDANG

REMSEN, Iowa—Dale C. Delperdang, 74, of Ankeny, Iowa, formerly of Remsen, died of cancer Wednesday, Nov. 29, 2000, at Mercy Hospice in Johnston, Iowa.

Services will be 10 a.m. Saturday at Our Lady’s Immaculate Heart Catholic Church in Ankeny. Burial will be in Belle Vista Cemetery, Belle Vista, Ark. Visitation with the family present will be 6-9 p.m. today, with a prayer service at 7 p.m. at the church. Arrangements are under the direction of Hamilton’s near Highland Memory Gardens in Des Moines.

Mr. Delperdang was born in Remsen. He had lived in Bella Vista and Worthington, Minn. He was a self employed realtor. He was also employed with Wal-Mart.

He had married Audrey Mae, who preceded him in death. He married Catherine M. Twombley.

He was a member of Our Lady’s Immaculate Heart Catholic Church and Knights of Columbus.

Survivors include his wife; three sons, Russell of Remsen, Randy and his wife, Mary of Diamond Road, Miss., and Reg of Richardson, Texas; two daughters, Robbi Delperdang and her special friend, Dave Schlintz of Hastings, Minn.; four step daughters, Karla Pezdirtz of Niceville, Fla., Bev Wheat of Atherton, Calif., Sandra Zenk of Johnston and Pam Feldman of Omaha; a step son, Brian Zenk of St. Louis; three brothers, Marvin of San Diego, Milton of Marcus, Iowa, and Tony of Remsen; a sister, Mercedes Haverkamp of Remsen; seven grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a brother, Gerald; and a grandson, Colin Smith.
