CLARENCE R. COLLMANN
Clarence R. Collmann, 77, of LeMars, died Monday (Dec. 31, 1984) at St. Luke’s Regional Medical Center, Sioux City, after a brief illness.
Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Thursday in Christ Lutheran Church, Grant Township, Plymouth County. Rev. Jack Hebard will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery. A prayer service will be at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Mauer-Johnson Funeral Home, in LeMars.
Mr. Collmann was born Aug. 31, 1907, in Grant Township, to William and Catherine Helgers Collmann. He was a painter. He married Emma Dirks Oct. 9, 1930, in Grant Township.
Mr. Collmann was a Navy veteran of World War II. He was a member of Wasmer Post 241 American Legion, Fraternal Order of Eagles and Christ Lutheran Church. He was a lifelong Plymouth county resident.
Survivors are his wife; one daughter, Mrs. David (Lorena) Pederson of Mason City; two brothers, Alvill of Corn Hill, Ark., and Fred of Delhi, Iowa; two grandsons and two great granddaughters.
He was preceded in death by his parents and three brothers.
