MRS. CLAUS KRUSE

Mrs. Doretta Elizabeth Kruse of rural LeMars passed away on July 18, 1957, at the farm home following a sickness of several years.

Doretta Elizabeth Westhoff was born August 28, 1910, in Grant township and was 46 years of age. She was a lifelong resident of Plymouth county and was married to Claus Kruse on November 29, 1934, at her farm home in Grant township.

Funeral services under the direction of the Mauer funeral home are pending. They will be held at St. John's American Lutheran Church in Preston township with burial in the Preston cemetery. Rev. Henry Dirks will officiate.

Survivors include her husband; a daughter, Dorothy Ann Kruse at home; her mother, Mrs. Gratie Westhoff in LeMars; a brother, Dick Westhoff of LeMars, and a sister, Mrs. Emma Popken of LeMars.

She was a member of St. John's and its organizations.
