SERVICES FRIDAY FOR GEORGE W. FARMER

George W. Farmer, 70, LeMars, a longtime resident of this community died Wednesday at a LeMars hospital after a 10 day illness.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at the Mauer funeral home at LeMars. Burial will be in LeMars cemetery.

Mr. Farmer was born October 21, 1883, at Fairbault, Minn. He had farmed in Plymouth county for 42 years. He married Lorena Fett January 12, 1907, at De Smet, S.D.

Survivors besides the widow are a daughter, Mrs. Rozella Merritt, three sons, Arthur, Vernon and Kenneth; a brother; three sisters; 14 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
