Word has been received here by relatives of the death of Pauline Pape Washam, who died in her home at Eagle, Idaho, November 29, 1936, after a lingering illness.
The deceased had many acquaintances and friends here, as she matured to womanhood in this community. She was born at Kewaunee, Wis., in February 1863, and resided there until she was 10 years old when she with her parents moved to Hinton, Plymouth County, Iowa, in 1873. She was united in marriage with D. H. Washam on December 31, 1884, and at that time Mr. and Mrs. Washam went to Greenriver, Wyo., where they located and resided for 18 years, and then moved to Eagle, Idaho, where she spent the remainder of her life.
Surviving are her widower; four daughters; two sons; a number of grandchildren and great grandchildren; one brother, William Pape, of Leeds, Sioux City; three sisters, Celia Woolworth of Hinton, Anna Vought of Sioux City, and Mary Powell of Emmett, Idaho.
