BURIED AT LE MARS

Mrs. Katherine Determan died at the Sacred Heart hospital in LeMars Jan. 26, after a long illness. Funeral services were held Saturday at St. James Catholic church in LeMars. She was the mother of Mrs. Ike Huisman of Alton and Mrs. Arthur (Barnum) Mulder of Sioux Rapids.

Katherine Determan was born Feb. 27, 1879, in Stanton township, Plymouth County and was married to Frank Determan April 29, 1902. The couple lived in Struble for many years and Mrs. Determan moved to LeMars after the death of her husband some years ago.

Nine children, 25 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren survive; also a brother, Bernard Dreckman of LeMars. Two children preceded their mother in death, also two brothers and a sister.
