FRANK DETERMAN
DIES AT STRUBLE

Frank Determan, blacksmith at LeMars and Struble for forty years, died at his home in Struble Thursday night at the age of 72 years. He was born near Dubuque and came to LeMars when a young man to engage in his trade. For the past fifteen years he has lived in Struble.

Surviving are his wife and the following children: Mrs. Hill Galles, Wilmour, Minn.; Mrs. Art Plietz, LeMars; Mrs. Ike Huisman and Mrs. Arthur Mulder, Alton; Helen, Marie, Wm. Josephine and Albert, of Struble; also one brother, Barney Determan of Remsen.

Funeral services were held at St. Joseph’s church in Struble Monday morning, with Rev. Schumacher of LeMars officiating. Out-of-town relatives and friends present were Messrs. and Mesdames Will Determan of Merrill, John Determan of Sioux City, Herman Determan, Herman Droste, Henry Droste, all of Lions, Iowa; Frank Dreckman, Barney Dreckman, John Dreckman, of LeMars; Herman Holdgraver of Remsen; Joe and Leo Dreckman, Isadore Mayrose and Miss Hyacinth Dreckman, of LeMars; Mr. and Mrs. John Galles, Mrs. Fred Hiedich, Mrs. Anna Pick, Mr. and Mrs. Martin Peters, Mr. and Mrs. Nick Lauters and Joe Sherholdts, all of Remsen.
