LORI ANN TOOKER
LE MARS, Iowa --- Lori Ann Tooker, 41, of Merrill, died Wednesday, July 5, 1995, at a Sioux City hospital after a lengthy illness.
Services will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday at St. John Evangelical Church in Merrill with the Rev. Keith A. Sievers officiating and Dr. Howard Marty, homilist. Burial will be in Plymouth Presbyterian Cemetery, rural LeMars. Visitation will be after 3 p.m. today, with a prayer service at 7:30 p.m. at the Feuerstein Funeral Home in LeMars.
Mrs. Tooker was born Jan. 20, 1954, in Akron and was a lifelong Plymouth county resident. She attended LeMars Community schools, graduating in 1972. On July 20, 1973, she married Randal Tooker. She graduated from St. Luke’s School of Nursing in 1975. She worked as a registered nurse for many years at Indian Hills Care Center and St. Luke’s Regional Medical Center in Sioux City.
Mrs. Tooker was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church in Merrill. She enjoyed floral arranging, folk and tole painting, singing, horseback riding and arts and crafts.
Survivors include her husband; two daughters, Kari and Kristin and a son, Nicholas, all at home; her parents, Ralph and Marilyn (Gamble) Taylor of Akron; three sisters, Debra Stoos of Omaha, Lisa Greenfield and her husband, Jim, of Sioux Falls, S.D., and Jill Taylor and her husband, Steve Oetken of Omaha, and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Victor and Dena Taylor and maternal grandparents, Lyle and Anna Gamble.
