BERNARD McMAHON

Funeral services for Bernard S. McMahon, 49, who died Wednesday at the Akron hospital after a long illness were at 9 a.m. Saturday at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Akron. Rev. B. Friedman of Hawarden officiated and burial was in the church cemetery.

Mr. McMahon was born in Akron June 26, 1908, and resided in the Akron community his entire life.

Surviving are the widow, Vera; a daughter, Ruth Ann; three sisters, Mrs. Everett Henricks and Miss Florence McMahon, both of Alcester, S.D., and Mrs. Bernice McHugh of Elk Point, S.D.; and four brothers, Clarence of Sioux City, Joe of Pocahontas, Ia., Frank of Phoenix, Ariz., and Ed of Pierson, Ia.
