E. Myrtle (Reeves) Parks, 93, of Wynnewood, Okla., and a Le Mars area native and longtime resident, died Wednesday, March 5, 2008, at Corn, Okla.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. March 10, at First Baptist Churchin Elmore City, Okla., with burial in Oaklawn Cemetery in Wynnewood, Okla.

The DeArman Funeral Home of Wynnewood was in charge of arrangements.

E. Myrtle Parks, a resident of Wynnewood, OK was born April 5, 1914 in Le Mars, Iowa to Cynthia (Heemstra) and Wilburt A. Reeves. She passed away March 5, 2008 at the age of 93 years 11 months. She was married to Lowell B. Parks at Le Mars, Iowa on February 24, 1937. She Moved to Wynnewood, OK from Iowa in November 1995. Then moved from Wynnewood to Corn, OK in 2004. She was a member of the Free Methodist Church. Her heart was in the Misssion Field. At one point in her life she went to Haiti on Missions six years in a row. She also spent time as Owner/Operator of an Egg and Dairy Operation. She was preceded in death by Her husband Lowell Parks in 1975, 3 Brothers - Earnest, Lawrence, and Glen Reeves, and 1 Son - Lyle Parks.

Survived by her Daughter and Son in law, Beverly and Doyle Martin, Elmore City, OK, Daughter and Son in law, Blanche and Eddie Raines, Hinton, OK, Son and Daughter in law, Ralph and Martha Parks, Henderson, NV, Sister, Mabel Parks, Prescott, AZ; 16 Grandchildren, and 14 Great Grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Rod Martin, Brent Martin, Monte Martin, Martin Hall, Ken Wood and Rich Spencer.

Services will be held March 10, 2008 at 2:00 pm at Elmore City First Baptist Church officiated by Rev. Bruce McCray. Burial will follow at Oaklawn Cemetery in Wynnewood, OK under the direction of DeArman Funeral Home.
