Florence Porsch

Florence Porsch, 78, of rural Hinton died Sunday (Dec. 25, 1983) in Harlington, Texas.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday in Trinity Lutheran Church, rural Hinton. Rev. Jerome Hahn will officiate. Burial will be in the Arlington Cemetery at Moville.

Visitation will be from noon to 9 p.m. Wednesday in the Michaelson Funeral Home in Kingsley.

Mrs. Porsch, the former Florence Bashaw, was born Sept. 17, 1905, at Moville. She taught school in rural Plymouth County. She married Albert Porsch May 23, 1940. They farmed in the Hinton area for many years.

Mrs. Porsch was a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church and the Ladies Aid of the church. She was a Sunday School teacher for 13 years.

Survivors are her husband and two sisters, Mrs. Ernest (Leah) Dockweiler of Sioux City and Mrs. Roy (Vera) Rehm of Richland, Wash., and several nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Porsch was preceded in death by 3 brothers and 5 sisters.
