JULIUS ROSBURG
KINGSLEY, Ia. – Special: Funeral services for Julius Rosburg, 66, Kingsley farmer who died Friday in a Sioux City hospital after a brief illness, will be at 9:30 a.m. Monday, at St. Michael’s Catholic Church here. Rev. H. Janse will officiate and burial will be in Calvary Cemetery in Sioux City under the direction of the Dickison Funeral Home.
Mr. Rosburg was born July 4, 1889, in Crawford County, Iowa. He moved with his parents to a farm near Hinton, in 1902. He married Nell Nicholson June 23, 1918; and the couple farmed, near Hinton, from 1919 until 1946 when they moved to Kingsley.
Mr. Rosburg was a veteran of World War One.
He is survived by the widow; a daughter, Mrs. Joe Lage of Kingsley; two sons, Donald and Thomas, both at home; the Mrs. Marie Rosburg of Napa, Cal.; three sisters, Mrs. Christine Tapken of Bend, Ore., Mrs. A. L. Loyd, also of Napa, and Mrs. Anna Salander of Visillia, Cal.; four brothers, Edward of Hinton, Martin of Sioux City, Charles of Pamona, Cal., and Paul of Hollywood, Cal., and three grandsons.
