PLAN TUESDAY RITES
FOR PETER DEITERMAN,
WELL KNOWN FARMERFuneral services for Peter Deiterman, 53, well known farmer near LeMars, will be held Tuesday at 9:30 a.m. at Church of the Assumption, Merrill, with the Rev. Lloyd Carel officiating. Burial will be in the St. Joseph cemetery in LeMars.
Mr. Deiterman, lifelong northwest Iowa resident, died at Sacred Heart hospital Saturday after a three-week illness.
He was born May 17, 1898, at Remsen and married Sophia Steichen June 27, 1922, at Alton. They had farmed many years in this community.
Survivors include the widow; three sons, Gerald, Donald and Leo, all at home; four brothers and four sisters.
Funeral services will be held at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday at Merrill, Rev. Lloyd Carel will officiate.
