MERRILL, Iowa -- Lyman Hobson, 65, of Merrill died suddenly Sunday, Oct. 13, 2002, at a Sioux City hospital.

Services will be 11 a.m. Thursday at Merrill United Methodist Church. Graveside services will be 10 a.m. Thursday in Hillside Cemetery. Visitation will be after 2 p.m. Wednesday, with the family present after 6 p.m. and a prayer service at 7 p.m., at Carlsen Funeral Home in Le Mars, Iowa.

LYMAN HOBSON
MERRILL—Lyman Hobson, 65, Merrill, formerly of Doon, died Sunday unexpectedly in a Sioux City hospital from meningitis. Funeral services will be held Thursday, 11 a.m. in the Merrill Methodist church. Family night is set for Wednesday, 7 p.m. in Carlsen Funeral Home, LeMars.

Lyman was a son of the late Lyman and Martha Hobson, and was reared to adult life in Doon. He graduated from Doon highschool in 1955.

Survivors include his wife, the former Glenda Zigtema of Doon; one son; three daughters; others.
