MRS. IDA BUNGE
Mrs. Ida Ernestine Bunge, 91, LeMars, died Tuesday (April 11, 1978) in Floyd Valley Hospital after a 10-day illness.
Mrs. Bunge was the wife of the late Rev. F.O. Bunge, past minister of Christ Lutheran Church, Grant township.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday in St. John's American Lutheran Church, LeMars. Rev. Arnold Imbrock and Rev. William Striepe will officiate.
Burial will be in Christ Lutheran cemetery, rural LeMars, under the direction of Mauer funeral home.
Ida Wojahn was born March 4, 1887, in Parushka, Germany, to Carl and Justina Wojahn. She married F. O. Bunge, May 11, 1909, at Comfrey, Minn. The couple moved to Plymouth County in 1933. They retired to LeMars in 1950.
Mrs. Bunge was a member of St. John's American Lutheran Church and Ephatha Circle of ALCW.
She is survived by two sons, Victor of Cedar Rapids and Roland of Nacogdoches, Tex.; two daughters, Mrs. William (Esther) Myer of Alamosa, Colo., and Mrs. LaVern (Martha) Pageler, LeMars; 10 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren, and a brother Emil Wojahn, Portland, Ore.
