HARRY A. BUEHRE

LE MARS, Iowa --- Harry A. Buehre, 85, of LeMars, died Monday, June 19, 1995, at Brentwood Good Samaritan Center.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at St. John's Lutheran Church, ELCA with the Rev. Gary Landsness officiating. Burial will be in LeMars Memorial Cemetery under the direction of Mauer-Johnson Funeral Home, LeMars. There will be no visitation.

Mr. Buehre was born Nov. 19, 1909, in rural LeMars, the son of Henry and Mary (Doering) Buehre. He attended rural school in America Township. He married Grace Erickson Feb. 17, 1932, in Akron. The couple farmed west of LeMars many years. They moved to LeMars in 1956 and he was a bus driver for the LeMars Community School District. He had been a resident of the nursing home since November 1994.

Mr. Buehre was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church.

Survivors include his wife; a sister-in-law, Gladys Buehre of LeMars, and a step mother, Viva Buehre of Sioux City.

He was also preceded in death by a sister, Edna Sargent and a brother, Vernon.
