MARVIN PAUL BUHMAN

Marvin Paul Buhman, 76, LeMars, died on March 24, 1993, at his residence, 3 Birch St., Armel Acres.

Services have been set for 10:30 a.m. Saturday, March 27, at St. John's American Lutheran Church with Rev. David Kramer conducting services. Interment will be in Christ Luther Cemetery, Grant Township, rural LeMars. Visitation will be after 2 p.m. Friday in the Mauer-Johnson Funeral Home with the family present 7-8 p.m.

Mr. Buhman was born on July 15, 1916, in Merrill to Walter and Minnie (Utech) Buhman. On Aug. 16, 1937, he married Alice Johnson in Johnson Township. He retired from farming after farming from 1937 to 1960. He was a LeMars Community Schools bus driver from 1968 to 1986.

Survivors include his wife Alice; five sons, Eugene and his wife Jan, Sioux City, Mark and his wife, Mary, LeMars, Tom, Phoenix, Ariz., Bruce and his wife Shirley, Phoenix, Ariz, and Jeff, Phoenix, Ariz; 12 grandchildren; and a sister, Marvel Johnson and her husband Melvin, LeMars.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a granddaughter, Tammy.
