Burma Mae Small of Weatherford, TX lost her battle with cancer and passed away Thursday, June 29, 2006 surrounded by her family and in the care of Hospice.
Funeral services were Monday, July 3 at Lakeside Church of God, Fort Worth, TX with the Revs. Carroll Smith and W.C. Rutherford, Sr. officiating. Burial was in Memory Gardens Cemetery, Weatherford. White’s Funeral Home in Weatherford was in charge of arrangements.
Burma Mae was born July 9, 1936 in Gunter, the daughter of Carlos and Nettie Mae Watwood. She married F.M. Small Aug. 14, 1954 in Denison.
She is survived by her husband of 52 years, Fay Myron Small of Weatherford; daughter, Sherri Bohannon and her husband Steve of Lubbock; son, Doug Small and his wife Denice of Amarillo; daughter, Cindy Casteel and her husband Tom of Arlington; daughter Linette Armstrong and her husband James of Arlington; daughter, Lisa Gossett and her husband Dee of Amarillo; 17 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren and three sisters, Syble McCrary of Fresno, CA, Ellen Copley of Denison and Thelma Gruner of Dallas.
