Ralph W. Richards
Ralph W. Richards, 50, longtime Brunsville businessman died at St. Vincent hospital Wednesday after a long illness.
He was operator of a grocery store and rug cleaning establishment in Brunsville and had lived in Plymouth county most of his life.
Mr. Richards was born June 12, 1919, at Brunsville was the son of the late Charles M. and Dolean McInnis Richards.
His marriage to Mary Pittmann took place April 11, 1938, at Elk Point. His wife is the postmistress at Brunsville.
Funeral services will be held at St. Peter Lutheran church, Brunsville, Saturday, at 2 p.m. Rev. Olaf I. Rossing will officiate and burial will be in St. Peter Lutheran cemetery, Brunsville, under direction of the Mauer funeral home. Friends may call anytime after noon Friday.
Survivors are his wife, Mary J., Brunsville; a son Kenneth, Colorado Springs; a granddaughter, and two sisters, Mrs. Ed Dirks., Akron, and Mrs. Amundus Rupp., Sioux City.He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother and sister.
