Mrs. Frank Dougherty Dies at Milwaukee; Relatives Attend Rites
Relatives here received word Saturday of the serious illness of Mrs. Frank (Veo) Dougherty. Two of her brothers, Wayne and Wesley Hamilton, and a sister, Mrs. Lyman Clark left for Milwaukee, Wis. Saturday.
Mrs. Dougherty died Sunday morning. The funeral was held Wednesday.
Among those going were Mr. and Mrs. James Hamilton, Mrs. Wayne Hamilton, Lyman Clark, Joan and Larry, Mrs. Wesley Hamilton and Clarence Norton, all of Merrill; Mrs. Harold Rath of Hinton; Mrs. Lawrence Holtzen of Hartley, and Mrs. Robert Bliss of Erie. Ill.
Mrs. Frank Dougherty was born in Liberty township, Plymouth county, Dec. 23, 1905, and died in Milwaukee, Wis., Sep. 16.
She is survived by the widower and three daughters, three brothers and four sisters.
Mrs. Lyman Clark remained in Milwaukee for another week, and her nieces plan to bring her back.

Funeral services for Mrs. Veo Dougherty were held Wednesday Sept 19, at 2 p.m. in First Methodist church at South Milwaukee, Wis. Rev. Martin Thomas officiated, and interment was at Forest Hill Memorial Park there.
Veo Hamilton was born Dec. 23, 1904, in Plymouth county and grew to womanhood in Liberty township. She was married Oct. 17, 1927 to Frank Dougherty and has made her home in Milwaukee since.
She is survived by the widower, three daughters, Mabel, Mary Belle and Mrs. Elaine Fouts; a granddaughter, Brenda; three brothers. James, Wesley and Wayne Hamilton, all of Merrill; and four sisters, Mrs. Ruth Holtzen of Hartley, Mrs. Jennie Ferguson of State College, Pa., Mrs. Arleen Rath of Hinton and Mrs. Ayleen Clark of Merrill.
