Frank Willer, 81, lifelong Plymouth county resident, died unexpectedly Friday afternoon Dec. 8, 1978, at Floyd Valley Hospital after a brief illness.
The LeMars ambulance was called to his home at 400 2nd Ave. SE and he died a few hours later at the hospital.
Mr. Willer was born June 27, 1897, at Akron to Johanes and Matilda Yunkcloud Willer. He was a retired carpenter and a member of Grace Lutheran Church.
His marriage to Nora Scanlon took place Feb. 14, 1914, in Sioux City.
Funeral services were at 2 p.m. Monday at Grace Lutheran Church in LeMars with Rev. H. H. Schauland officiating. Burial was in Resthaven Memory Gardens under the direction of the Luken-Johnson Funeral Home.
Survivors are his wife, Nora, LeMars; three daughters, Mrs. Wally (Kathaleen) Ladenthin and Mrs. Melvin (Leona) Pitts, both of LeMars, and Mrs. Marvin (Lavina) Klave, Sergeant Bluff; a bother, Henry Willer, Akron; a sister, Mrs. Anne Stricker, Omaha; 13 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a son, daughter, brother and two sisters.
