EDDIE WEYERS

Eddie Weyers, 55, LeMars, died Thursday (Dec. 12, 1974) at Floyd Valley Hospital here after being hospitalized for two weeks.

He was born Oct. 23, 1919, at Maurice, the son of Dick and Jennie Adeweg Weyers.

Mr. Weyers was employed at Wells’ Dairy and lived at 120 First Street NW.

He had lived at Maurice and for 12 years in California before coming to LeMars in 1960.

His marriage to Johanna Zeutenhorst took place at Dakota City, Neb., May 15, 1968.

Funeral services will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. at the Luken-Johnson Funeral Home with Rev. Robert Hanthorn officiating. Burial will be in Resthaven Memory Gardens.

Friends wishing to meet with the family may do so between 7 and 8 p.m. Friday at the Luken-Johnson Funeral Home.

Survivors are his wife; a son Edwin, and three daughters, Marilyn Cazter, Sherry Galligo and Donna Weyers, all living in California; four grandchildren; two brothers, John, Lime Springs, Iowa, and Tony, Southgate, Calif., and two sisters, Mrs. Fred Schroder, Orange City, and Mrs. Gerritt Dolieslager, Doon. There are nine stepchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister.
