Henry Weber, 76, LeMars, died unexpectedly Tuesday (March 18, 1985) while visiting at Akron. A lifelong Plymouth county resident, he was retired farmer and owner of the LeMars Livestock Sale Barn.
Funeral will be at 1:30 p.m. Thursday at St. John's American Lutheran Church, LeMars. Rev. Tom Lee will officiate and Burial will be in Resthaven Memory Gardens under the direction of the Mauer-Johnson Funeral Home. A prayer service will be at 7 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
Mr. Weber was born June 22, 1908, in Plymouth County to Rick and Tina Martfeld Weber. He married Dora Steen, June 22, 1937, in Elk Point. He was a member of St. John's American Lutheran Church.
Survivors are his wife, Dora, LeMars; a son, Larry, Akron; a daughter, Mrs. Ray (Janice) Ferrari of Jefferson, S.D.; two grandchildren, Monty Weber and Nannette Weber; two brothers, Alvin of Norwalk, Calif., and William of Motley, Minn.; three sisters, Katherine Boulton of Hinton, Viola Rieken of Sioux City and Dora Wensel of LeMars. He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister.
