OBITUARY
MRS. ENOCH SWANSONMrs. Enoch (Helen) Swanson, 67, 100 4th Ave. SE, died early Thursday (April 18, 1974) at Floyd Valley Hospital after a long illness.
Funeral services will be Saturday at 2:30 p.m. at the First United Methodist Church with Rev. Everett Staats officiating.
Burial will be in Resthaven Memory Gardens, LeMars, under the direction of the Mauer funeral home.
Eastern Star services will be held at 7:30 p.m. Friday.
The former Tressa Helen Solsman, she was born Aug. 24, 1906, at Carlisle, Ind., the daughter of the L. W. and Amy (Shephard) Solsman.
She and Mr. Swanson were married Aug. 24, 1931, in Indiana. The couple came to LeMars in 1932 and have lived here since that time.
Mr. Swanson is well known in the area having been a tank wagon operator for over 40 years.
Mrs. Swanson was a homemaker, a member of the First United Methodist Church, a graduate of the University of Indiana, and a member of the LeMars chapter, Order of Eastern Star.
Survivors are her husband, Enoch of LeMars; and two brothers, Robert Solsman of Carlisle, Ind., and Herman Solsman of Sullivan, Ind.
She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother.
