SERVICES FRIDAY FOR
HAZEL STINTON, 71Funeral services for Hazel Stinton, 71, of rural LeMars, will be held Friday at 2 p.m. at First Methodist church, LeMars.
Burial will be in Resthaven Memory Gardens under the direction of the Mauer funeral home. Rev. Milo Morris officiating.
A prayer service will be held at the funeral home at 8 p.m.
Hazel Lavina Kayner was born Nov. 12, 1894, in Plymouth county. She was a practical nurse and made her home in Plymouth county her entire lifetime. Her parents were Fred and Freda (Harrison) Kayner.
Her marriage to Ray Eugene Stinton took place April 19, 1915, in Sioux City. Mr. Stinton died in 19(?)58.
Survivors are two sons, Lowell B. Stinton and Lyle Stinton, both of LeMars; a daughter, Mrs. Kenneth (Margaret) Sorgdrager, LeMars; 14 grandchildren; two brothers, Cy Harrison of Omaha and Eugene Harrison, LeMars; and two sisters, Mrs. Louis (Mabel) Mook of Sioux City and Mrs. Earl (Elsie) Lemke, Los Angeles.
She was preceded in death by her husband, three brothers and two sisters.
