GEORGE TAYLOR

George Taylor, 53, of Westfield, died Sunday evening at a Sioux City hospital following a brief illness. For the past 11 years he had been employed by Armour and Co. in Sioux City.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Methodist Church at Merrill. Rev. Gale Hawhee will officiate, assisted by Rev. Harley Carbaugh, pastor of Riverside Methodist church, Sioux City. Burial will be in Resthaven Memory Gardens here under the direction of the Dickison funeral home of Kingsley.

Mr. Taylor was born Jan. 25, 1909, in the Kingsley vicinity. He married Thelma Knudsen Dec. 20, 1933, in Sioux City.

Survivors include the widow, Thelma; two daughters, Mrs. Donna Bennette of Denver, and Miss Betty Taylor of Sioux City; a son, George, at the family home; four sisters, Mrs. Maude Pierce of Verndale, Minn., Miss Alice Taylor of Kingsley, Mrs. Nellie Campbell of Cloverport, Ky., and Mrs. Pearl Linden of Odebolt; six brothers, Clifford of Moville, Orren of Bronson, Charles of Sioux City, and Edward, Victor and Lloyd, all of Kingsley, and four grandchildren.
