JAMES W. TRACEY
James W. Tracey, 67, 234 Fifth Ave. NW, a watchman at the Plymouth County Home, died unexpectedly Thursday at his home.
Funeral services will be Monday, Aug. 10, at 10 a.m. at St. James Catholic church with Rev. John Turza officiating. Burial will be in Resthaven Memory Gardens under the direction of the Luken-Johnson Funeral Home. Rosary will be said at 8 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 9. Friends may call at the funeral home after 2 p.m. Sunday.
He was born Feb. 17, 1903, at Marcus, a son of the late Mike and Florence (Dunn) Tracey. He married Helen Thiel Jan. 20, 1931, at Remsen. The couple moved to LeMars from Remsen in 1962.
Mr. Tracey was a member of St. James Catholic Church and the Knights of Columbus.
Survivors are his wife, Helen, of LeMars; two sons, Dale of LeMars and Richard of Burlington; a daughter, Mrs. Dwendell (Margaret) Solem of Laurens; four brothers, Tom, Joe and Richard of Bengough, Saskatchewan, Canada, and George of Regina, Saskatchewan, Canada; three sisters, Mrs. Mary Shaw of Bengough, Mrs. George Rouse of Gray and Mrs. Norman Aspinoll of Dondree, all in Saskatchewan, Canada.
