MRS. ARTHUR TAUTE

Mrs. Arthur Taute, 70, of LeMars, died Saturday (Oct. 8, 1983) at Floyd Valley Hospital following a brief illness.

Services will be 10 a.m. Tuesday in the Mauer-Johnson Funeral Home with Vicar Dan Ritter officiating. Burial will be in the Resthaven Memory Gardens.

A prayer service will be said at 7 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.

Mrs. Taute, the former Irene Wiener, was born on Jan. 18, 1913, in Lincoln Township in Plymouth County to Chris and Frances Heimgartner Wiener. She married Arthur Taute on June 2, 1955, in Sioux City. She was a lifelong Plymouth county resident.

Survivors are her husband; three brothers, Ernest Wiener of LeMars, Louis Wiener of Broken Arrow, Okla., and Marvin Wiener of Hinton; two sisters, Mrs. Lorna Ludwig of Hinton, and Mrs. Naomi Peterson of Huron, S.D.

She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers.
