STEPHEN SWIER

Hospitalman 2nd class Stephen William Swier, 24, Tarawa Terrace, N.C., died Friday (May 14, 1976.)

Services will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. at Calvin Christian Reformed church, LeMars, with the Rev. Joel Boot officiating. Burial will be in Resthaven Memory Gardens at LeMars. Mauer funeral home is in charge of arrangements.

Stephen Swier was born June 12, 1951, at Colton, S.D. He graduated from Unity Christian High School and attended Northwestern College in Orange City.

He married Jan Zomermaand Dec. 22, 1970, in LeMars. He entered the navy Dec. 26, 1971. He was a pharmacy technician at the naval regional center hospital at Camp LeJeune, N.C.

Survivors are his wife; a son, Chadwick Reuben, 3; a daughter, Stephanie Natasha, 2; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. William Swier, Colton, S.D.; three sisters, Mrs. Butch (Sherry) Faber of California and Linda and Nancy Swier, both of Colton; and grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Peter Swier, Colton.
