SINGER

Remsen special --- Funeral services were held May 2, for Mrs. Clarence (Cora) Singer, 76, of LeMars, at the Presbyterian United Church of Christ at 1:30 p.m.

Rev. Robert L. Grupp, pastor of the Presbyterian United Church of Christ, officiated at the funeral services and also at the Sunday evening prayer service at 7:30 p.m.

Pallbearers were W. G. Anderson, Jess Wheeler, Anton Prokop, Henry Ioos, Jack McDougall and Henry Dykstra.

Organ music was by Mrs. Clarence Ludwig, close friend of the family, and vocalists were Mrs. Craig Bottjen and Mrs. Mike Wiederholt, who sang, “How Great Thou Art” and “He.” A memorial address on “My Grandmother” was given by Mrs. Dennis Novak.

Interment was at Resthaven Memory Gardens, LeMars, under the direction of the Mauer funeral home.

Mrs. Singer is survived by her husband, Clarence; a daughter, Mrs. Leonard (Blanche) Wiederholt; a son, Donald Singer; seven grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
