ROBERT RUBLE

Robert Ruble, 75, LeMars, died Friday (Feb. 17, 1984) at LeMars Brentwood Care Center after a long illness.

Services were at 2 p.m. Monday in St. John's American Lutheran Church in LeMars. Rev. Tom Lee officiated. Burial was in Resthaven Memory Gardens.

A prayer service was at 7 p.m. Sunday in the Mauer-Johnson Funeral Home, LeMars.

Mr. Ruble was born Feb. 16, 1909, in Plymouth County to John and Ella Neginey Ruble. He was a truck driver before he retired. He has been a Plymouth County resident all his life. He married Matie Kleihauer June 25, 1929, in LeMars. He was a member of St. John's American Lutheran Church.

Survivors are his wife; a son, Harlan, of Cherokee; two daughters, Mrs. Alvina Heyl of Sheldon, and Mrs. Marlowe (Phyllis) Schmidt of LeMars; a brother, Henry of Atkins, Ark.; nine grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers and a sister.
