HENRY RAMHORST

IRETON Special --- Henry Ramhorst, 64, Ireton, died Thursday while driving his car. He suffered an apparent heart attack and his care was found in a ditch as he drove toward the home of a son-in-law, Ronald Halweg, who lives west of LeMars.

It was reported Mr. Ramhorst intended to help shell corn at the Halweg home.

Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at St. John Lutheran Church, rural Ireton. Rev. Arthur Anacker will officiate and burial will be in Resthaven Memory Gardens, LeMars, under the direction of the Dow Funeral Home, Ireton.

He was born March 17, 1904, at Lynchville, N.D., and was married to Beatrice Mauer, June 27, 1935, at Ireton. He lived most of his life in the Ireton area, where he was farmer and cattle feeder.

Mr. Ramhorst was a member of St. John Lutheran Church and served in various offices at the church for many years.

Survivors are his wife; a son, Darrell, Sioux Center; three daughters, Mrs. Keith (Norlene) Morgan, Casper, Wyo.; Mrs. Ken (Gayle) Harskamp, Ida Grove; and Mrs. Ronald (LuEva) Halweg, Ireton; two sisters, Mrs. Leon DeRaad, Ireton, and Mrs. Arthur Mulder, Alton; three half-brothers, Arthur Eilts, Marshalltown; Ray Eilts, Hawarden; and Christopher Eilts, Sioux City; a half-sister, Mrs. James Mulder, Grants Pass, Ore.; and eight grandchildren.
