---RITES MONDAY

Arthur E. Petersen, 57, a lifetime resident of Plymouth county, died Friday at home at 417 Cent. Ave, NW following a heart attack.

Mr. Petersen, a retired farmer, was born Oct. 12, 1905, on a farm near Hinton. He married Dorthia Muecke on June 29, 1930, in Lincoln township of Plymouth county.

Funeral services were at 2 p.m. Monday at Grace Lutheran Church here. Rev. H. H. Meyer officiated. Burial was in the Resthaven Memory Gardens Cemetery, under the direction of the Luken funeral home.

Survivors include the widow, two sons, Darvin of LeMars, and Melfred of Hinton; four sisters, Mrs. Emma Hansen and Mrs. Eva Crawford, both of Sioux City, Mrs. Gertrude Ideker of Albuquerque, N.M., and Mrs. Ethel Martin of Whittier, Calif.; one brother, Eric, of LeMars and four grandchildren.
