FUNERAL RITES
PLANNED FRIDAY

Mrs. A. T. Peters, 65, died at her home at 28 Ninth St. SW, early Wednesday after a nine month illness.

Beth Hoyt was born May 18, 1900, at Bloomfield, Neb., and lived in LeMars the last 25 years. Her parents were the late William R. and Hattie M. Laird Hoyt.

Funeral services will be held Friday at 2 p.m. at the Mauer funeral home, with Rev. James Ransom officiating. Burial will be in Resthaven Memory Gardens near LeMars under the direction of the Mauer funeral home.

Mrs. Peters was a member of the Presbyterian church, chapter CD of P.E.O., Woman’s Assn. of the Presbyterian church and Merry-Go-Round Social club.

Survivors are her husband, August T. Peters; three children, Mrs. F. William (Betty) Trescott, Hinsdale, Ill,; Mrs. Claire (Jane) Steele, LeMars; and Donald M. Peters, LeMars; and children of Mrs. Peter’s sister raised by Mr. and Mrs. Peters, Robert H. Simmons, Falls Church, Va; Joanne Simmons, Wichita, Kan.; and Dr. Jerry L. Simmons, Urbana, Ill. There are 12 grandchildren and a great granddaughter.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Mrs. Lola Simmons.
