E. O. PAULIN
E. O. (Bud) Paulin, 68, semi-retired LeMars insurance agent, died unexpectedly Friday morning at Floyd Valley Hospital.
He was taken by ambulance to the hospital from his home at 5:30 a.m.
Errett Oscar Paulin was born Dec. 20, 1901, at Batavia and went to the Kingsley vicinity as a child. He lived there until moving to LeMars in 1955. His home was at 420 South Greenwood Drive.
Mr. Paulin had been active in Farm Bureau work and Farm Bureau insurance. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church.
His marriage to Ruth James took place June 22, 1926, at Swaledale. His parents were the late John W. and Imogene Walker Paulin.
Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, April 14, at First United Methodist Church in LeMars, with Rev. Milo Morris officiating.
Burial will be in Resthaven Memory Gardens, LeMars, under the direction of Mauer funeral home.
Survivors are his wife, Ruth, and a son, Donald, both of LeMars. There are two grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. Harold (Fairy) Mulford, Kingsley, and a brother, James Paulin, LeMars.
He was preceded in death by a son, John, a brother and two sisters.
The family request memorials be directed to the Heart Fund.
