BONITA PAULIN

Mrs. Huel (Bonita) Paulin, 72, longtime LeMars and area resident, died unexpectedly Tuesday (March 27, 1984) at Floyd Valley Hospital. She had been a patient for two days.

Funeral will be at 1:30 p.m. Friday at Calvary United Methodist Church in LeMars with Rev. Edward Phillips officiating. Burial will be in Resthaven Memory Gardens under the direction of the Mauer-Johnson Funeral Home where a prayer service will be held at 7:30 p.m. Thursday.

A memorial in Mrs. Paulin’s name has been established at Calvary Church.

Bonita Valora Muller was born June 15, 1911, at Harlan, Iowa, to Albert and Hannah Hulsebus Muller. She came to LeMars in 1930 and lived here since. She married Huel Paulin June 18, 1940, in LeMars.

Mrs. Paulin worked for 17 years in the LeMars Community Schools lunch department.

She was a member of Calvary United Methodist Church where she was active in Martha Circle and other church and community affairs. She was a member of the Christian Builders Sunday School class.

Survivors are a daughter, Mrs. David (Sandra) Hebrink, Spring Valley, Minn., and a son, David Paulin, Minneapolis; six grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. Jack (Neva) Heritage, Dike, Iowa, and a brother, Norman Muller, Glendale, Calif.

She was preceded in death by her husband in August 1975; her parents, a brother and a sister.
