LILLIAN PAGELER

Lillian Pageler, 87, of Merrill, died Saturday (April 19, 1986) at Floyd Valley Hospital in LeMars after a brief illness.

Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at St. John's American Lutheran Church in LeMars. Rev. David Kramer will officiate. Burial will be in Resthaven Memory Gardens, in LeMars.

A prayer service will be at 7:30 p.m. Monday in the Mauer-Johnson Funeral Home in LeMars.

Mrs. Pageler, the former Lillian Thormahlen, was born May 31, 1898, in Plymouth county to John and Mary Kuehn Thormahlen. At the age of 10 she moved to Wessington Springs, S.D., and returned to Plymouth county in 1933. She married Henry Pageler June 6, 1921, in Sioux Falls. He died in 1981. She was a member of St. John’s Church.

Survivors are a son, LaVern, of Merrill; a foster daughter, Beverly Lilly of Sioux City; a brother, Henry of Sioux Falls; two grandchildren; two great grandchildren; five foster grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by her parents; a sister and a brother in infancy.
