LE MARS, Iowa -- Cully Osterbuhr, 32, of Le Mars died Saturday, Sept. 28, 2002, at his residence.
Services will be 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. John Lutheran Church, E.L.C.A., with the Rev. Gary Landsness officiating. Burial will be in Resthaven Memory Gardens Cemetery. Visitation will be after 3 p.m. today, with the family present after 6 p.m. and a prayer service at 7 p.m., at Carlsen Funeral Home in Le Mars.
Cully Richard Osterbuhr was born Jan. 27, 1970, in Le Mars, to Ashley and Donna Marie Ann (Kliever) Osterbuhr. He graduated from Kingsley-Pierson High School in 1988. Following high school, Cully worked for Harkers Distribution in Le Mars. He began working for Wells' Dairy in 1989, and for the last six years worked at the North Ice Cream Plant.
Cully enjoyed hunting, fishing and derby car competitions. He was a devout San Diego Chargers fan.
Survivors include his father and stepmother, Ashley and Jackie Osterbuhr of Marcus, Iowa; his mother, Donna Osterbuhr of Hanford, Calif.; a brother, Alan Osterbuhr of Marcus; three sisters, Marti and her husband, Scott Lewison of Hawarden, Iowa, Tammy and her husband, Dan Craig of Fremont, Neb., and Kari Osterbuhr of Hanford; maternal grandmother, Marion Kliever of Hanford; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
Cully was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Dick and Helen Osterbuhr; and maternal grandfather, Herb Kliever.
Pallbearers will be Jody Osterbuhr, Preston Schroeder, Joe Hegwer, Jason Osterbuhr, Ron Kliever and Brian Droegmiller.
