LUVENA AUGUSTA LEHRMAN

Mrs. Lester (Luvena Augusta) Lehrman, 51, Oyens, died at her home Thursday after a 3 ½ year illness.

Funeral services will be Monday, Jan. 19, at 1:30 p.m. at Grace Lutheran Church with Rev. Lowell Boettcher officiating. Burial will be in Resthaven Memory Gardens under the direction of Mauer funeral home. A prayer service will be held at 7:30 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 18, at the funeral home.

The former Luvena Augusta Hesebeck was born July 10, 1918, at Ocheyedan, the daughter of the late Henry and Augusta (Dorman) Hesebeck. She married Lester Lehrman Feb. 8, 1939, at Ireton.

She was a homemaker and lived at Maurice for 21 years. In 1960 they moved to Cresco and have lived at Oyens since Dec. 19 of last year.

She was a member of Grace Lutheran Church, LeMars.

She was preceded in death by her parents, a sister and a brother.

Survivors are her husband, Lester of Oyens; a son, Loren, of Struble; two daughters, Mrs. Jerry (Janet) Rann of Oyens and Elaine Lehrman of Cedar Rapids; six sisters, Mrs. Richard (Mabel) Sixta and Mrs. Clarence (Bernice) Heidebrink of Santa Rosa, Calif., Mrs. Ernest (Minnie) Bremer of Worthington, Mrs. Robert (Florence) Bremer of Spirit Lake; Mrs. Theodore (Elsie) Glade of Sheldon and Mrs. William (Dorothy) Hattendorf of Ocheyedan; five brothers, Albert and George of Sheldon, Raleigh and Fred of Ocheyedan and Carl of Mountain Lake, Minn.
