SERVICES WEDNESDAY FOR WALTER LANG
Retired Neptune area farmer, Walter H. Lang, 69, 440 2nd Ave. NE, died Sunday (Sept. 23, 1973) at Plymouth Manor Care Center after an extended illness.
Funeral services will be Wednesday at 2 p.m. at Grace Lutheran Church with Rev. James Rassback officiating.
Burial will be in Resthaven Memory Gardens, LeMars, under the direction of the Luken-Johnson Funeral Home.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 2 p.m. Tuesday. Prayer service will be held at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday.
Mr. Lang was born Dec. 22, 1903, in Stanton township, the son of the late Gustave and Josephine (Wetrosky) Lang.
He was married to Ada Jones Dec. 10, 1930, at Hinton. The couple farmed near Neptune until 1958 when they moved into LeMars.
Mr. Lang was a member of Grace Lutheran Church.
Survivors are his wife, Ada, of LeMars; a son, Duane of Citrus Heights, Calif., and three grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a son, two sisters and a brother.
