ADAH LANG

Adah Lang, 90, of Sheridan, Calif., and a longtime LeMars resident, died Monday, April 29, 2002, of congestive heart failure and pneumonia in Sacramento, Calif.

Adah May Lang was born Nov. 13, 1911, at Hartley, the daughter of James and Mary Jones. She married Walter Lang on Dec. 10, 1930. They farmed for many years south of LeMars before moving into LeMars.

She lived most of her life in the LeMars area, until December 1996 when she moved to California to live with her son, Duane.

She is survived by her son, Duane Lang, and his wife Arlene, of Sheridan, Calif.; grandson Dean Lang and wife, Robbie of Rancho Cardova, Calif., and their son Eric; granddaughter Debby Moore and her husband, Robert, of Visalia, Calif.; and their daughter Christin and son Bryan Ray; granddaughter Cindy Cardoza and husband Rafael of Placerville, Calif., and their three sons Travis, Kyle and Curtis; grandson Curt Lang and wife Nancy of LeMars and their daughters Cara, Melissa and Mackenzie and son Austin; and a niece and six nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Walter, a son, Larry Lang and two brothers, Lawrence Mousel and Leroy Jones.

There will be a memorial service at 7 p.m. today (Wednesday) at Grace Lutheran Church in Lincoln, Calif. Her final resting place will be at Resthaven Memory Gardens, LeMars. Burial will be at a later date.
