HARVEY H. LUDWIGS

Harvey Herman Ludwigs, 56, 509 Second Ave. SE, died at his home Saturday, Jan. 1, after suffering an apparent heart attack.

Mr. Ludwigs was employed in the milk department at Wells Dairy and was a lifelong resident of Plymouth County living in Struble and LeMars.

Funeral services will be Tuesday at 2 p.m. at Grace Lutheran Church with Rev. James W. Rassbach officiating.

Burial will be in Resthaven Memory Gardens under the direction of the Mauer funeral home. A prayer service will be held Monday at 7:30 p.m.

Mr. Ludwigs was born March 4, 1915, at Struble, a son of the late Eilert Ludwigs and Mrs. Agnes Ludwig Ludwigs. He married Rose Catherine Heeren May 24, 1945, in LeMars.

He was a member of Grace Lutheran Church and a veteran of World War II serving in Germany.

Mr. Ludwigs was preceded in death by his father.

Survivors are his wife, Rose, of LeMars; two daughters, Mrs. John (Joanne) Davis of Wichita, Kan., and Sharon Ludwigs at home; his mother, Mrs. Eilert Ludwigs of Craig; a brother, Henry C. Ludwigs; two sisters, Mrs. Donald (Mildred) Roberts of Pipestone, Minn., and Mrs. Donald (Aldena) Barton of Klamath Falls, Ore.
