PHILLIP F. LUBBEN
Phillip F. Lubben, 69, LeMars, died Saturday (Nov. 4, 1972) at Floyd Valley Hospital after a brief illness. He was a lifelong LeMars area resident engaged in farming.
Funeral services will be Tuesday at 2 p.m. at the Luken-Johnson Funeral Home with Rev. James Rassbach officiating.
Burial will be in Resthaven Memory Gardens, LeMars, under the direction of the Luken-Johnson Funeral Home.
Mr. Lubben was born April 30, 1903, in LeMars, the son of the late Albert and Margaret (Kleihauer) Lubben. He married Helen Harms March 10, 1940, at Struble.
Mr. Lubben was preceded in death by his wife on Jan. 22, 1970, in LeMars; his parents, three brothers and a sister.
Survivors are two sons, Marlin of LeMars and Kenneth of Sioux City; two daughters, Mrs. Joan Miller of Woodward and Mrs. Joyce Kuhlman of Denver; a brother, Henry of LeMars; and three sisters, Mrs. Gretha Oetken of LeMars, Mrs. Bruno (Margaret) Brunken of Struble and Mrs. Harry (Nora) Westhoff of LeMars.
