MRS. TED LOVE

Funeral services for Mrs. Ted Love, 80, will be held 2 p.m. Friday at First Presbyterian Church, LeMars.

Rev. James Ransom will officiate and burial will be in Resthaven Gardens here. Mauer funeral home is in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Love died at Sacred Heart Hospital Wednesday after an illness of several months. She had been a patient at the hospital several weeks.

Clara Louis Schafer was born Oct. 26, 1884, in LeMars and had been a lifelong resident here. Her parents were the late Mary Hamm and Emil Schafer. Her marriage to Theodore Love took place Nov. 18, 1908, in LeMars. The couple observed their 50th wedding anniversary Nov. 18, 1958.

Mrs. Love had been active in many clubs and church activities in former years. She was a long time employee of the former Kehrberg dry goods store in LeMars and a member of the First Presbyterian Church.

Survivors are her husband, Theodore, a patient at Sacred Heart hospital, LeMars; a sister, Mrs. Carl Petry, LeMars; and a brother, Arthur Schafer, Yakima, Wash. There are several nieces and nephews.
