VERN LIND

Vernon Lyle Lind, 43, 934 Central Ave., SE, was born Sept. 12, 1926, at Madison, S.D.

He was married to Kathleen Robinson Oct. 20, 1956, at Sioux Falls.

Funeral services will be Friday at 1:30 p.m. at St. John’s American Lutheran Church, LeMars, with Rev. Arnold Imbrock and Rev. Paul Tobiason officiating. Luken-Johnson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

He was a member of the LeMars Elks and Eagles Club, the American Legion and St. John's Lutheran Church.

Survivors are his wife, Kathleen and their four children, Janet (12), Jeff (10), Judy (9), and Jim (7); his parents, Mr. and Mrs. R. A. Lind of Madison; two brothers, Robert of Minneapolis and Ken of Sioux Falls; a sister, Mrs. Dale (Jennie Mae) Swartz of Baltic, S.D.
