MRS. WILLIAM LAHR

Mrs. William Lahr, 64, route 4, LeMars, died unexpectedly at Waterloo, Thursday (Aug. 9, 1973) while on vacation.

The former Lillian Meta Alma Baack, she was born April 25, 1909, in Sioux County, the daughter of the late Fred and Martha (Eggebrecht) Baack, Sr.

She was a lifelong resident of Sioux and Plymouth county.

She married William Lahr Oct. 8, 1932, at Elk Point. Mrs. Lahr was a member of the Presbyterian United Church of Christ.

Funeral services will be Saturday at 2 p.m. at the Presbyterian United Church of Christ with Rev. Earnest J. Nelson officiating.

Burial will be in Resthaven Memory Gardens, LeMars, under the direction of the Mauer funeral home.

Survivors are her husband, William, LeMars; two daughters, Mrs. James (Bonnie) Wiggerman, Fort Dodge and Mrs. Arnold (Carole) DeJong, LeMars; two brothers, Fred and Edward Baack, both of LeMars and five grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, five brothers and a sister.
