OBITUARY

MRS. W. H. KLOHS

Mrs. W. H. (Lowell) Klohs, 90, of LeMars, died today (Friday, Sept. 27, 1991) at Plymouth Manor Care Center in LeMars.

Funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday at St. John's American Lutheran Church in LeMars with Rev. David Kramer officiating. Burial will be in Resthaven Memory Gardens, LeMars.

Visitation will be after 2 p.m. Sunday with the family present from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at the Mauer-Johnson Funeral Home in LeMars.

The former Lowell Lewis was born June 9, 1901, in Osage, Iowa, to Mr. and Mrs. George Lewis. She married William H. Klohs Sept. 6, 1919, in Aberdeen, S.D. The couple lived and farmed near LeMars and retired from farming in 1949 when they moved to LeMars.

Mr. Klohs died Nov. 11, 1977.

Mrs. Klohs was a member of St. John's Church.

Survivors are two sons, Murle Klohs and wife Dolores of Grass Valley, Calif., and Marland (Whitey) Klohs and wife Joanne of LeMars; six grandchildren, Wendy Soares of Antioch, Calif.; Linda Cunningham of Folsom, Calif.; Kirk, Dave, and Bill Klohs of LeMars and Scott Klohs of Englewood, Calif. Nine great-grandchildren survive.

She was also preceded in death by her parents.
