MRS. CHARLES KEEHN

Mrs. Charles Keehn, 48, of Hawarden, died Wednesday (March 31, 1982) in a Sioux City hospital after a brief illness.

Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Saturday in the Associated Church in Hawarden. Rev. Cornelius Wilkins will officiate. Burial will be at Grace Hill Cemetery.

There will be a prayer service at 7:30 p.m. Friday in the Dow funeral home.

Mrs. Keehn, the former Barbara M. Atkins, was born June 26, 1933, in Tipton, Iowa. She attended schools in Tipton and also a business administration school in Davenport in 1951.

She married Charles Keehn June 26, 1952, in Nashua, Iowa. They lived in various locations while he was in the Armed Forces, moving to Hawarden in June of 1973.

She was employed at Otis Radio in Hawarden and for the last four years at K-Products.

Mrs. Keehn was a member of the Associated Church and the Women’s Fellowship, Vesper Chapter 61 Order of Eastern Star of Akron and was an active officer in numerous bowling leagues.

Survivors are her husband; three daughters, Karla Finch of Hawarden, Cindy of Sioux City, and Faith of Hawarden; two sons, Robert and Charles II, both of Hawarden; her mother, Mrs. Peggy Holiday of Tipton; her father and stepmother, Mr. and Mrs. Darrell Atkins of Cypress, Calif.; one brother, Ronald of Clarence and two grandsons.
