STANLEY JUNE DIES MONDAY

Stanley June, longtime Merrill resident and retired railroad employee died Monday (Nov. 25, 1974.)

It was reported Mr. and Mrs. June were visiting her sister in North Dakota at the time of his death due to an apparent heart attack.

Funeral arrangements are pending.

OBITUARY
STANLEY JUNE

Stanley June, 70, Merrill, a retired railroad worker, died unexpectedly Tuesday (Nov. 26, 1974) at Alexandria, Minn., while visiting there.

Mr. and Mrs. June reportedly had arrived at the Berens home in Benson to spend the Thanksgiving holiday when Mr. June became ill and died at the Alexandria hospital of an apparent heart attack.

He was born Sept. 13, 1904, in Merrill, where he spent his entire life.

His marriage to Ruth Kemnitz took place Jan. 2, 1929, in LeMars.

Funeral services will be held Friday at 11 a.m. at Merrill United Methodist Church with Rev. Maurice Ellwien, Lawton, officiating.

Graveside Masonic rites will be conducted by Landmark Lodge, Sioux City.

He was a member of the Masonic lodge, Brotherhood of Railway Employees and the Merrill United Methodist Church.

Burial will be in Resthaven Memory Gardens, LeMars, under the direction of the Luken-Johnson Funeral Home. Friends may call at the funeral home after 2 p.m. Thursday.

Survivors are his wife; two sons, Wilmer, Sioux City and Marlo of Luverne, Minn.; four daughters, Mrs. Merlin (Donna) Bock, Sheldon; Mrs. Kenneth (Doris) Muyskens, Kanwaha; Mrs. Jack (La Von) Holton, Merrill; and Mrs. Raymond (Beverly) Berens, Benson, Minn. There are 26 grandchildren.
